5 Weekly Saves: Studio McGee Edition

Every week I share 5 home design photos that have given me inspiration. This week they are all from Studio McGee. This week Shea shared her Waters Edge project, and i am OBSESSED!! This home is a whopping 20,000 square feet! She has a full house tour on their You tube channel, and i love everything about this house, but here are my 5 favorite moments!!
I love a good range alcove, and this one is now one of my all time favorites!! They symmetry is amazing, (that door on the left actually leads into the pantry!!) The stone.... this stone is carried throughout the home, and love that wooden beam which is also carried throughout the home. You normally see tile on the walls behind the range, and i love that she did something different and used a plaster instead.
2. These huge double islands! Painted a sage green/grey Sherwin Williams Fawn Brindle. I love how they frame the range, and how she broke up the end of the one island with open shelving on the end, which i love and personally put in my own island!
3. Walking into this pantry from the hidden door in the kitchen, gives you an unexpected moodiness that your not expecting since the rest of the house is so warm and neutral. Paint color is Inspiration from Portillo Paints.
4. The entryway walls are completely covered in stone, but I love how the doorways are framed with salvaged wood beams. Those wood beams against that stone is just so beautiful. I now need to add stone to my home somehow!! lol.
5. This little sitting room off of the kitchen, completed with stone walls. On either side of the fireplace there are niches in the stone for fire wood. The beams on the ceiling with the stained planks.
